Mark Garcia, CPA, MBA is an operationally-minded Fractional CFO with more than three decades of finance leadership across manufacturing, equipment, professional services, healthcare, construction, and real estate. At AMG Advisors, he leads fractional CFO engagements and drives the firm's business development — positioning the finance and accounting function as a profit center for growing businesses through cash flow management, smart overhead investment, technology adoption, and process improvement.
Mark has been CEO of IPCFO, Inc., a fractional CFO practice, since 1997. Across his career he has led companies through more than $150 million in combined sales, IPOs, M&A transactions, and business-unit sales; negotiated loans in excess of $10 million; and managed asset-based lending facilities. He's known for translating financial information into actionable management insight — including the mid-month estimating discipline that took a client from a $300,000+ loss to $1,000,000+ in income during the 2007–08 banking crisis.
